I grew up on a New Mexico ranch, in a household with mostly men, raised by a tough single father who expected my brothers and me to contribute financially from a young age. By the time I was 9, I was knocking on doors, selling items from a catalog to help with school supplies and clothes for school.
By high school, I had dreams of becoming a lawyer, possibly in the military, so I enlisted and was deployed to Iraq for a year, escorting troops. When I returned to Texas, I enrolled at Texas Tech and met Andrea, the woman who would change my life. We fell in love, and suddenly, my priorities shifted. The dream of becoming a military lawyer no longer made sense—it required constant travel and an all-consuming commitment. More than anything, I wanted to be present for my family.
I let go of that dream and started selling Cutco cutlery while Andrea and I welcomed our three daughters: Ashlynn, Zavery, and Hadley. One of my clients asked if I had ever considered real estate. Funny enough, I’d always been interested in investment opportunities, and the question felt like a valuable nudge. In 2008, I entered the industry right when the market crashed.
Business was scarce and many people were leaving real estate altogether. But if there’s one thing about me, it’s that I don’t give up easily. In fact, I love proving people wrong and showing that anything is possible. I worked 80-hour weeks, going door to door just like I had as a kid. In my first year, I made an extremely modest profit while Andrea worked overtime to support us. Slowly but surely, my clients became my friends and business felt more meaningful. By 2011, I hit a major breakthrough, achieving millions in sales and expanding into residential, land, and commercial real estate. Along the way, I met incredible clients who became like family.

By 2020, I had experienced great years of business and felt on top of the world—until the pandemic hit, and I got sick with COVID. I lost my appetite and thirst, had trouble breathing, and could barely move. Andrea rushed me to the hospital, where I spent a week and lost 30 pounds. A nurse told me, "If you don’t improve, we’ll have to intubate you, and survival rates are low at that point."

Those words woke something up in me –– a desire to live. I sat in a chair and did breathing exercises for hours every day, forcing my lungs to strengthen. Slowly, I recovered. When I finally returned home, it took me 30 days just to walk to my driveway—but I had survived.
Lying in that hospital bed, I didn’t think about work. I thought about my relationships—my family and the people who had impacted my life. With the time I had left, I wanted to be remembered as a great husband, good father and friend. These days, I spend as much time as I can with Andrea and my 3 daughters—2 of whom are now teenagers. They are my biggest motivation and raising them has softened me. I want to be present for them and cherish our time together rather than fight through it. Providing them with love and opportunities is my greatest accomplishment.
I also give back to the community, donating blankets, food, and hygiene items to the homeless. I have a special place in my heart for homeless veterans, who often struggle to reintegrate into society. You’ll also find me horseback riding or by the water fishing in my free time. My daughters and my brush with death have shown me the value of slowing down and being fully present. More than ever, I strive to show up as a loving and supportive friend.
Clients appreciate my calming presence, especially in the often stressful world of real estate. I approach transactions with a neutral, level-headed mindset, offering guidance and unmatched expertise from our team. My goal is to manage situations effectively; ensuring a smoother experience for everyone involved.
I work with people from all walks of life and thrive on challenges. What others see as impossible, I see as an opportunity. My belief in endless possibilities fuels my determination—I never tell clients something can’t be done. Instead, I roll up my sleeves and work relentlessly to find solutions.
Specializing in residential, land, investment properties, and commercial real estate, I take pride in making an impact in my clients' lives. I empower them to achieve their goals while learning from them along the way. More than just transactions, I aim to build lasting relationships, ensuring that every client feels supported, confident, and inspired throughout their journey. Opportunity is always waiting—we just have to find the way forward together.
